Maybe you should upgrade your trucks brakes to slotted rotors.

I’ve tested these on a number of Tacomas and 4Runners over the years and slotted rotors hold up far better than stock rotors. What’s the difference between slotted and non-slotted rotors? The slots vent hot gases that form on the face of the rotor and allow the brakes to run cooler and last longer. Not to mention they look pretty cool.

I’ve had people ask me about drilled rotors, I don’t recommend them for street applications because they tend to crack easily. Since my goal is install parts that last the longest and give the best performance, slotted rotors are what I recommend for Tacomas and 4Runners.

The above Tacoma was in the the shop because the owner was tired of the dreaded brake shake coming down the hill. We installed new high performance slotted rotors and Adaptive 1 ceramic pads and he’s totally stoked about his new brakes and the cool appearance that you can see through the wheels.

Stock Toyota Rotor - Non Slotted

Toyota Tacoma Getting HP Slotted Brake Rotor Upgrade

Kona BMW Dealer Alignment & Balance Prices

Uncategorized

No wonder people hate going to the dealer… I had a customer stop in the other day with a printout of an estimate to rotate and balance the tires and perform a 4 wheel alignment.
