The owner Joe Trent works in the shop daily and performs all work. A mechanic in Kona since 1997, he started his career in 1979 in the tire business and from there went to work at the oldest Frame and Alignment shop in Santa Ana California at the time.
After many years of working for the biggest and the best in the state of California, Joe Trent opened his first auto repair shop here in Kona in 1997.
Joe Trent has been ASE Certified over 25 years and has over 30 years experience.

Family
My wife Eila and I have been together over 10 years at the time of this writing. (2010)
We both moved to Kona separately in 1996. She started Touch of Class Cleaning and operated it for a number of years but sold it a few years back so she could pursue her love of photography and see if she could make a living from it. She’s still working on that.
Eila lived in Fairbanks Alaska for 27 years. I love taking her camping. She knows way more than I do about surviving in the woods. Kinda of like having your own eagle scout.
She has a daughter who lives here in Kona and a son who lives in Anchorage AK. They keep saying I should see Alaska but I keep telling them I’ve seen it on Discovery Channel and I’m good with that. Who knows, maybe someday…
My son is in the military and has been for over 7 years and is near completing his degree in criminal justice. He’s been to way more places on the map than me, I’m jealous, but proud of him. 
My daughter goes to college on the mainland.
